Lost In Senses

I burnt my lips
trying to smell you tonight
and it’s got a black spot
that no makeup can erase.

I blinded myself
listening to you cry to me tonight
and it’s enveloped in darkness,
rejecting enlightenment.

I am bereft of hearing
because I saw your tears tonight
and it’s raining calamitously,
raindrops refusing to stop.

I don’t feel like tasting meat
for you touched me tonight
grasping with yearning,
learning to let your words flow.
