Falling In and Out of Love

What does it mean to fall in love?
What does it mean to fizzle in hatred?
It’s to bring together elements that would never have crossed paths, if not for one’s zeal to explore the extraordinary.
Vague, stupid, mindless, yet caressing so much meaning that it could befool the ordinary senses.
Like monochrome roses against a rocky ocean.
That’s love and hatred both. You must figure out what’s what. You could make it either beautiful or ugly. It’s all about your illusory choice, after all!

And what does it mean to fall out of love?
A lumbering desire broken into shards.
A hope strangled, a suicide of longings.
Too many times, too many people.
Now, the monochrome roses look lonely and wilted,
Yet, you are never accustomed, never quite familiar.
